We offer a variety of safe, conservative treatments for facial pain and TMJ disorders. Our options range from targeted muscle exercises and oral appliances—such as mouth guards that protect your teeth from breaking—to Botox (botulinum toxin) injections.

Botulinum toxin is an FDA-approved purified protein injected into the affected muscles to temporarily block nerve signals. This relaxes the muscles and significantly reduces or eliminates facial pain. These injections take only a few minutes and remain effective for up to three months. After two or three treatments, often in conjunction with exercises and oral appliances, many patients break the habit of clenching and grinding.
