Doctor & Staff
DR. SONA TACVORIAN is an educator as well as a practitioner. Sona is a part-time Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She enjoys teaching dental students and sharing her knowledge as much as treating her patients. She has been in practice for 24 years and feels there is nothing more rewarding than a patient’s smile at the end of a treatment. Her warmth and compassion as well as her expert skills endear her to her patients.
Dr. Tacvorian was born in Bucharest, Romania and holds a doctorate degree from the Institute of Medicine and Stomatology in Bucharest as well as a doctorate degree, DMD from Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry.

She is active in these associations and volunteers her dental services in the Give Kids A Smile Campaign that provides dental treatment free of charge to economically challenged children.

Patients from toddlers to seniors benefit from her many years of experience, knowledge and unequaled empathy.
MARIA is our dental assistant. It is very rare to have a dental assistant that is also a dentist. Maria was a dentist in Bulgaria where she practiced for over 20 years. Four years ago she moved to America but decided not to take her dental license to practice dentistry in the U.S. Instead, she got certified as a dental assistant and she considers it the perfect job. She brings a lot of care, skill, and understanding to our patients.
