We are a small dental practice catering to your emotional and dental well-being. Our highly skilled staff will provide you with a friendly, warm and relaxing experience. We regularly attend courses to keep up to date in the latest discoveries and technologies. You will find that we are very courteous, kind and helpful. We try very hard to be on schedule. We understand you have a busy life and we make every effort to accommodate you and not to keep anyone waiting. Our staff has over 85 years of cumulated experience in treating patients of all ages. Experience brings skill, trust, confidence, gentleness, and concern. We genuinely care for each and every one of our patients and look forward to building a long term relationship. DR. SONA TACVORIAN is an excellent clinician dedicated to her patients and their well-being. She has been in private practice for over 26 years and feels there is nothing more rewarding than a patient’s smile at the end of a treatment. Her warmth and compassion as well as her expert skills endear her to her patients. Dr. Tacvorian was born in Bucharest, Romania and holds a doctorate degree from the Institute of Medicine and Stomatology in Bucharest as well as a doctorate degree, DMD from Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry.
For over 20 years, she taught part –time as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She enjoyed teaching dental students and sharing her knowledge as much as treating her patients. She took a break from teaching during the pandemic and plans to return to it in the near future.
Dr. Tacvorian is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Massachusetts Association of Women Dentists and the American Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
Dr. Tacvorian is always attending continuing education programs to keep abreast with the latest technology and is a member of the prestigious SPEAR study club. Dr. Tacvorian makes herself available to all her patients. Feel free to call her anytime with any questions you might have.
GLENDA, our dental assistant brings a lot of care and kindness to our office. No matter the day, Glenda always has a smile on her face. Glenda has a calm demeanor and no matter how nervous you are, you will be more relaxed in her presence. She is loved by our patients and plants alike. Our orchids are always in bloom because of her.
LINA, our dental hygienist, is very gentle and compassionate. She is very dedicated to educating patients about the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth. Lina will always address patient’s concerns first and present them to Dr. Tacvorian for further evaluation. Lina has exceptional clinical skills and is very detail-oriented. From toddlers to seniors, patients benefit from her vast knowledge and years of experience.
BECCA, our dental hygienist, joined our practice in July of 2024. It took 2 years to find a clinician as skilled and knowledgeable as she is. Becca’s philosophy aligns perfectly with our practice philosophy: Educating patients about the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth in relationship to their general health and the importance of preventive dentistry. Patients are always happy and mention how thorough and gentle Becca is.
GISELLE is our office manager. Giselle started training with Terry in November 2024, and replaced her after Terry retired in February of 2025. Giselle will answer any preliminary questions you might have and schedule you a convenient appointment. She will send the necessary billing forms to your insurance company once you provide us with that information and collect your copayment at the time of your visit. Giselle has a very calm and happy personality, always with a smile on her face. She will make you feel welcomed and comfortable in our office.
